Well another picnic at the Fritsch's has come and gone. This was the 5th annual picnic - the first coinciding with my 30th birthday. The picture is of the center piece this year - a two lane inflatable obstacle course. From start to finish we navigated 85 feet of obstacles including hill climbs, tunnels and slides. This was the largest one yet....I have no idea how I'm going to top this next year. A good chunk of the Unangst 'clan' made it including my mom's cousin Thelma who was in town from California. The Cochrane's couldn't make it this year because they were in Canton Ohio getting ready for EJ's first pro game - a preseason matchup between the Eagles and the Raiders. EJ was told he'd handle the kicks in the second half but alas, at that point in the game the second and third string offense was in and was....well....I guess inept would be the word. They never really got past mid field and on the rare occassion they did - they would turn the ball over. We're hoping for more offensive output this Thursday nigth when Christl, my mom and dad and Tina head down to the Linc to meet up with Ed and Diane. Posted by Picasa
